Your beginner tutorials are wonderful and very informative... so thank you for taking the time. Here's a little tip as a DIY idea... if you don't like the feel of a full glove or prefer to not use a full glove... you can use something called a "finger cot" (aka finger condom or finger frock).Usually used for medical use, they are typically made of latex, rubber, silicone, or cloth and are designed to provide protection and barrier against various substances or contaminants. However, they would be great when quilting as they easily roll on and roll off (thus reusable) and you could use them on as little or as many fingers as you like. Another product you could use is balloons... using a smaller balloon, cut it to length, place it on your finger and when you're done with your quilting session, you could roll them off easily for future use. They would be especially handy on the 2 fingers touching your fabric when doing ruler work. Your welcome ;)

Wow you look fabulous. I can relate to you, I started with just organizing my fabric scraps and tools. I have been learning English piece making and making Improv. I am also embroidery. I do workout first thing in morning and this helps with stress and a good diet. Thank you for sharing and you addressed areas of our lives probably a lot of us going through. Just think of all the people you are helping. ❤

Then take that route. Who knows where it will take you. Self care, family and friends are very important. Enjoy what you do. Blessings to you and your family. Time is your healer.

I'd like to see this being done on an actual quilt and how one rotates the bulky quilt while sewing with these rulers.

I am unable to find Sta-Flo in my area. Only available on Amazon and it isn't cheap. I read some notes about how the company that produces Sta-Flo is discontinuing this product. Have you heard anything about this. Have you tried Lin-It liquid starch?
